Job Description:
NorthBay Solutions, with a team of 400+ Software Engineers and offices across Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, the US, and Canada, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant with a strong background in US GAAP Accounting Standards and US SEC (sec.gov) compliance.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with US-based firms, public company reporting requirements, and SEC compliance frameworks. This is a unique opportunity to work with an international finance team and gain exposure to US corporate reporting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate accounting operations in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, disclosures, and reports in line with US SEC compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the US finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting for US-based entities.
- Maintain in-depth understanding of SEC filings, financial reporting requirements (10-K, 10-Q), and related compliance matters.
- Stay up to date with changes in US GAAP, PCAOB, and SEC regulations.
- Communicate effectively with auditors, cross-border accounting teams, and corporate leadership.
Requirements:
- Strong technical accounting background with practical experience in US GAAP and SEC (sec.gov) compliance.
- Prior experience working for or with US-based public or private companies.
- Excellent knowledge of US financial reporting frameworks, SEC filing processes, and related compliance.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 12 PM – 9 PM (Pakistan time).
- ACCA qualification preferred.
- Candidates without US GAAP or SEC compliance experience will not be considered.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 9 pm (Hybrid)
