Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in deploying firewalls, routers, and VPN solutions, along with experience in enterprise security, network monitoring, and cloud networking.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, security, and infrastructure deployment.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing network security infrastructure from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of firewall security, VPN technologies, network security policies, and enterprise threat mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration and security configurations.
  • Proficiency in SIEM tools, network monitoring solutions, and cloud networking (AWS).
  • Experience working with ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Strong network architecture and design skills to build secure, scalable environments in public clouds (AWS, Azure)

Industry Certifications:

Must have

  • Cisco / ASA Firewall : CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise or Similar
  • Fortinet Firewall: NSE4+ or Similar

Good to Have

  • AWS Security Speciality
  • AWS Solution Architect
  • Palo Alto: PCNSE or Similar

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network & Security Infrastructure: Configure and deploy firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper SRX) in the on-prem or cloud environment.
  • Network Architecture & Security: Architect and implement secure, high-availability network infrastructures with advanced threat mitigation.
  • VPN Deployment: Set up and manage Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, and SSL/IPsec VPN solutions.
  • Firewall Security & Policies: Configure and maintain firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS for threat detection and response.
  • Endpoint Security Solutions: Deploy and manage EDR, XDR, and MDR solutions (Kaspersky, TrendMicro, etc).
  • Server Security: Hardening of OS to ensure its security as per industry standards
  • Network Monitoring & SIEM: Implement and manage monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc) and SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
  • AWS / Cloud Networking: Design and integrate AWS networking components (VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, VPNs, etc.).
  • ITSM & Documentation: Utilize ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow) for project tracking, change management, and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and security policies.
