About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Developer (Amazon Connect) to design and deliver cloud-based contact center applications leveraging AWS and Amazon Connect. The role is fully remote and ideal for a senior engineer with strong technical depth in AWS cloud telephony and customer engagement platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement Amazon Connect solutions for call center operations.
Develop IVR workflows, custom integrations, and serverless backends using AWS Lambda.
Collaborate with global teams to build, test, and deploy production-ready contact center applications.
Leverage AWS native services for scalability, security, and performance optimization.
Lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and ensure best practices across development cycles.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of total IT experience with a strong development background.
3+ years of experience working on Amazon Connect implementations.
Expertise in AWS Cloud ecosystem (Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway).
Strong understanding of telephony concepts, call routing, and SIP protocols.
Experience integrating contact center systems with CRM or ERP solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Developer / Architect certification.
Knowledge of AI/ML integration, chatbots, or voice bots using Amazon Lex.
Hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and analytics tools for contact centers.
