Role: Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) – Network & Security Operations

NorthBay Solutions, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner with distributed teams across the US, Canada, UAE, India, and Pakistan, is hiring high-caliber and experienced Security Engineers (L2/L3) to support a large-scale 24x7 Security Operations environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies including firewalls, web security, endpoint protection, VPNs, and security operations processes.

Experience

4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations
Experience supporting enterprise environments
Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls
Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules
Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions
Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions
Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis
Review security logs, alerts, and operational events
Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements
Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities
Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports
Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises

This is primarily a remote position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring attendance at the office once per week. We have offices in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi, and you may choose to work from any of these offices. The usual working hours are overlapping with US office, as 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PKT), Monday through Friday. We don't pay salaries in foreign currencies at all.
